Frustrated from blindly stabbing in the dark with your "big orchestra" keyboard patch? Looking to create more emotive, effective orchestral arrangements for your musical endeavours, but don't quite know where to start?
In this lesson, you'll become more familiar with the sounds of each instrument's different expressions and ranges, so you can educate and refine your instincts when asking yourself, "Who gets the melody?" while orchestrating. We'll look deeper into how we experience and consume music as composers and as listeners, and how we can use that knowledge to our advantage when creating an emotional state change for our listeners.
This bundle contains a video, a written handout of sorts, a long exercise, some anecdotes, and some recommendations for further studies :) There will be a part II in the coming months!

*Please note: If you have trouble opening the zip file (for example, you're on a PC and open the file only to find an empty folder called "_MACOSX"), you now should be able to download each of the three individual files separately instead :)
